Painting Description

I am not sure where we bought this doll but it is one of many that reside in a display cupboard in our living room. I am intrigued by the idea of mixing subjects and ideas. I thought the whimsical doll from Shakespeare provided a good foil to the very solid and everyday crock that contains the flowers. I welcome commissions from the public that ask me to combine some of their favourite personal objects.
