Painting Description

We went through a period when we were young, in the Seventies, when we collected bits and pieces that we thought were antique. Some of those things were really just old, but we loved them just the same. Most of the items that modelled for me in this painting are items from the local area, but two of the finds we carried back from our many journeys in England.
