Painting Description

All tourists who visit England have a list of must-sees. Years ago we visited Shottery to shuffle through this attractive building with all the other tourists. Several years later I painted this watercolour from some photos that I had taken. We have since re-visited Anne Hathaway’s cottage and have found the property still more organized for sightseers. Even with all the gates and barriers it is not hard to imagine this house as it might have been in the 1600’s.
