Painting Description

Perhaps an unusual still life is a way of describing this painting from a swamp near Huntsville, Ontario. I try to stay alert to the small visual bits that I see. Sometimes I use these intimate compositions on their own or sometimes I will incorporate several smaller ideas to make a larger more broadly focused work.
