Painting Description

I attempted in this painting to show the energetic nature of this Amish woman that attended the auction sale that raised money for their parochial schools. Because the public has little exposure to these conservative people I’m afraid that the image of the Amish is serious and dour. Well I can tell you that they are just people some of these folks are dour but other are joyous and even raucous.
