Painting Description

A drive along the shore of the Vermillion Lakes right outside of the town of Banff was a soul-feeding experience. This chain of lakes reflects the Rockies but features Mount Rundle with its broken-off peak. Seeing these Rockies’ scenes for the first time out of the summer season was a wonderful surprise. The snow-etched facets of the mountains emphasize the huge rock planes.
