Many people do not realize just how tropical parts of Ireland, England and Scotland can be. Micro climates result from the warm waters off the Gulf Stream. This view of County Kerry shows the mix of foliage that results from the humid atmosphere. I”ve been to some protected coves on the north-west coast of Scotland that also have tropical plants.
