Remains of an Early Road (near Toby Creek, British Columbia)
Painting Description
There is irony that today there is a modern road that parallels this decrepit track. The modern road leads to a ritzy ski resort. The early road led to a mine site. The landscape, rugged yet beautiful, remains the same but the reason for venturing there is much different.
