Painting Description

Sunlight amplifies the pattern of the currents in this stream in Bechtel Park.

Although I have started and stopped several paintings of these shiny patterns, this is the only one that seemed to work. I am much drawn to the impressionist water paintings of the Norwegian artist Frits Thaulow who was very popular in the late 1800s.
