An Amish girl, in her traditional costume, holds her little brother at the annual Amish Auction.
The Amish people in our area hold a fundraising auction in support of their parochial school system. I spotted this duo there and was much taken with them. I decided to treat the subject somewhat in the style of Nicolai Fechin, a Russian/American artist.
