Painting Description

Blair, Ontario, is the location of this old stone bridge which I used as the subject for a painting demonstration.

This painting is a 90 minute demonstration for the Waterloo Painters’ Guild. While I enjoy painting demonstration pieces for groups, I am always frustrated that people cannot really see what I am doing as I am standing in front of my work. I do encourage the audience to parade up to the painting several times during the process. This is a subject that I have painted a number of times before.
