Winter Design II

Painting Description

Combining gold ink with an acrylic wash brings a quite unusual look to a small piece of winter landscape. This painting/drawing reminds me of paintings produced in the early 1920’s by artists like Klimt. During the 1920’s and 30’s, much effort was directed to seeing landscape in a new, designed sort of way, not with a natural looking approach.
