Painting Description

These symbols of Ontario lift the woodland landscape in the early spring. They are truly the sign that spring has arrived. This painting shows a small patch of an extensive woods on the slope of the escarpment near Beamsville. As often happens, I was brought to this place by a commissioned painting and finding these trilliums was a delightful bonus.
