Three Generations

Painting Description

The Mennonite tradition of one generation training the other is shown here. With little apparent effort the logs were rolled onto the sleigh. The grandfather gently spoke directions to his son as they placed levers in various locations. The young kid playing with the dog was also learning about loading logs— he just didn’t know that he was getting an education.
