Painting Description

A stand of trees along a blind line country road near Millbank, Ontario, bends with the gentle spring breezes.

In the spring, the blossoms come into their own. This painting is very quiet in its very green subject, animated only by the effects of a spring breeze. After the dullish colour of late winter I welcome a shift of season with a whole new palette of colours. I used a warmly coloured cloudy sky to contrast with the greens and whites of the foliage.
