Small Falls, Dwight Area
Painting Description
I would describe this watercolour drawing as open. The drawing was executed in ink with a long skinny brush called a rigger. I like variety in line and this brush delivers that quality. Traditional Chinese painting uses brushes of a similar type. I felt this approach adapted well for a small quiet subject.
