My attempt in this piece was to show rural life in the 1920s and 30s. Because of the national character of the Agricultural Institute of Canada, it was necessary to make the location non-specific. This piece has been used by the Institute as a recognition award for outstanding contributions to Canadian agriculture. In this case the reproductions were not used as fundraisers but as awareness raisers.
