Painting Description

Just outside our village of Frittenden (how quickly we took ownership), this new farmhouse presided over the landscape. Because the British are so insistent on restoring and repairing buildings, it is somewhat unusual to see a new farmhouse. Their laws make demolition and then new construction very difficult. Perhaps Canadians could learn something about cherishing the past from the Brits.
