Pioneer Tower Tapestry

Painting Description

My wife studied at the Ontario College of Art specializing in textiles. For a number of years she laboured away on a floor loom, and that exposure to tapestry gave me a huge respect for the weaver and the result. Tapestry, when viewed up close, has layer hues that give a depth that I can only imitate in a pale way using paint, but I do try.
