Pioneer Bridge

Painting Description

My point of view for this painting is a bird’s eye view. I imagined just what this bridge would look like from the second story window of the cornerstone just next to it. I hope to suggest the hollow sound of the horse’s hooves and the creaking of the buggy. Although I have painted this pioneer structure many times, this old covered roadway always challenges me.
