Painting Description

This summer view includes so many factors in Mennonite country. Although the girls and the harvesters are obvious, a less noticeable facet of this painting is the backdrop of countryside rolling away to the horizon. I”m sure my awareness of extensive country views has been influenced by the time that I have spent in the countryside of England and the tradition there of extolling their landscape.
