Painting Description

This plein air painting describes our garden in an early stage of its development. This spring view with the yellow iris in bloom shows the newly laid path that with time became almost obscured as plants sprawled out from their original placements. This garden was a super place for my bride to try plants and techniques that she so loves in England.
