Maple Bay, British Columbia

Painting Description

For twenty years my sister-in-law lived in British Columbia drawing us every second year to that attractive province. The variety of geography is enormous. From coastal chic, to valley farms, from high desert plateaus to sea level views along the sunshine coast. This pretty marina that I painted it displays another facet of British Columbia. There is resident here a calm of mind, that shows as people enjoy relaxation, “messing about in boats” as Kenneth Graham said.
