Manor House View

Painting Description

The masons that built this stone house, probably in the seventeen hundreds, demonstrated such skill in their use of the local Cotswold stone. I”m surprised to find that those skills and techniques are still practiced today in much the same way. The garden wall in the foreground of this painting is only a few years old, but exhibits that same tradition.
