Just a Bit of Boomer Creek

Painting Description

Boomer Creek is one of those small strands of blue that twist like a corkscrew through agricultural land. I only know its name because this creek meanders through Mennonite Country that I travel so much. This piece was painted from a hill beside the creek, but I have many times lumbered along, laden with gear, beside this creek which led me to places that only the owners of their bisected farms have seen, with the possible exception of a few hunters who also walk across the fields.
