In the Blacksmith Shop (Study for)
Painting Description
This preliminary effort was the basis for In the Blacksmith Shop and Gathering Place. Based on a forge in B.C. as well as Jon Martins shop in St. Jacobs, this study is a good example of how an idea changes in my work.
