Painting Description

The traditional Mennonite farmstead was brought to my attention by sunlight streaming down through a break in the clouds.

There is nothing special about this farm but I was fortunate enough to be driving by when the theatrical lighting hit this farm. When I drive around the countryside I hope to be alert to any sight that might be the basis for a painting. I do not search out topics. They just come to me if I am receptive.
