Painting Description

I was attracted to this colourful harbour set beside a gray band of river. Being a landlubber, I am most fascinated by marine themes and colourful ones in particular. Many attractive features that I have painted border the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. For me, the courageous use of bright colours contrasts so strongly to the limited palette of Mennonite Country.
