Painting Description

These days the sight of a mixed team is not unusual. When I started painting the Mennonites, almost all the teams were matched. Personally I prefer this change as I feel that it adds to the visual appeal. This painting includes another mix—, that of the two different types of Mennonites. Contrast the dark gray clothing of the man in the foreground with the more colourful dress of the other man. Many people feel that the Mennonites are constant and unchanging in their lifestyle, but that is not what I see.
