Painting Description

Before Vita Sackville-West created the gardens at Sissinghurst, she produced a wonderful garden at Long Barn. This garden statue is only one of many attractive sculpted pieces that stand in that garden. Curiously Sissinghurst contains only one whimsical statue as if Mrs. Sackville-West had rather gone off the garden ornament idea. I”m sorry because I find these cast cement pieces most attractive and great objects to paint.
