End of the Day, Esquimalt

Painting Description

Near the capital of British Columbia, Victoria, Esquimalt has a lazy keen quality. During World War II, this was an active defence post with much military activity. Here and there along the coastline gray dumb pillboxes still stare blindly out toward the ocean, but clearly their moments of glory have passed.
