Painting Description

This painting with fountain brush and acrylic grew out of a car trip we made to this area south of Montreal, Quebec. The much congested mixed farms of that region reminded me of the Waterloo area except at home we unfortunately lack the voluptuous hills that divide these farms. We had driven to that area near the United States border to visit a country home that was to form the backdrop for the portrait of an equestrian.
