Painting Description

The light on the samovar, the colour of the blossoms, the mirror with its gilt frame, and the reflection of the bouquet, all attracted my eye in a country house hotel in the Cotswold area of England. It is arresting to realize that years ago in these houses, families lived in just such a style. How nice for them.
