Barn near Blair
Painting Description
I painted this very neat and tidy barn near Blair while still in art college. The technique verges on a dry brush watercolour approach.
After the rather more abstract trials from classes at art college, it was a restful exercise to paint a local simple peaceful subject in a straight forward way. This was one of my earlier acrylic paintings and I think that is why the technical approach is almost dry brush watercolour.
