Back Lane Pattern

Painting Description

The back lane is not often used but is maintained as a track for horse-drawn vehicles. Although cars can travel extra distance very easily, any time savings for carriages is a great asset. I was attracted to this ribbon-like pattern of the road as it picks its way between the fields.
