Painting Description

This Group of Seven style painting depicts the lingering grip of winter on a pond near Algonquin Park.

My neighbour, Larry, owns a hunt camp not far from Algonquin Park. He was disappointed to find on a visit there that winter, although on the way out, still gripped a pond on his property. It was my good fortune that along with some photos of the cabin, he included this shot of the pond nearby.
