Valley Farm

Painting Description

I started this painting using photos that I took, sometime in the late 1970s, from a point on Lobsinger Line about three miles west of St. Clements, Ontario. After many years of admiring the paintings of a British artist, Edward Seago, who painted the flat lands of East Anglia, I adapted some of his moves to create this painting. The older I get the more that I realize that all the work that I do owes a debt to the many artists whose work I have enjoyed.
