Painting Description

This small house in the Millbank area is quite typical of the dwellings occupied by the Old Order Amish in this area.

I moved this farmhouse back from the highway a bit. Once again for me it is the sharp light and the patterns that it creates that interest me in this rendition of an Amish house.

Years ago I painted Grandpa and His Pinto # E0179, a small piece of an old man driving a pinto buggy horse. This house is where Grandpa lived.
