Show Tip

Painting Description

I was approached by the owner of this outstanding quarter horse stud as this well known animal reached his last days. A time was arranged for me to visit at the farm to see and photograph this animal. Because of a neck-breaking accident that happened to this horse when he was young, Show Tip always held his head at a peculiar angle. It was very important to the owner of this legendary animal that I show that characteristic head tilt. Each person who commissions a painting has special ideas to incorporate and I am interested to do just that.
