Scottish Country Church

Painting Description

As we drove south from Edinburgh, this small country church caught my attention. After several centuries, this stone building seems part of the landscape of the Scottish border country. Burns or streams cross hatch the rolling countryside where cows as well as sheep are the few signs of agriculture.
