Patch of Autumn

Painting Description

I was attracted by the patterns of colours created by sun and shadows as we walked near Grey Silo Golf Course on the Walter Bean Trail.

This almost abstract piece has subtle colour and shade changes that attract me very much. The finished piece puts me in mind of paintings of Joseph Kugler, Sr. from Vienna which were so popular in the 1960s in Kitchener-Waterloo.
