One More Chateau

Painting Description

We often comment that after we have been in an area for a few days, we become snobs about the views. A castle that sent us into gales of praise on the first day becomes only okay— not really up to a chateau from another day. In the wine growing area of Burgundy, this range of buildings along the top of a hill gets downgraded to “just one more Chateau” when in actual fact, this chateau is a gem. How terribly spoiled I am.
