Painting Description

The Bauer Lofts project has stretched out over several years and has provided me with many interesting subjects. This view is early on and I was taken by the way the equipment stood out against the snowy site. Would it be crazy to compare this to the many paintings of New York and Paris that present a snowy background for the traffic. Painters like Sisley, or Twachtman in the United States, seemed much drawn to that type of theme.
