Looking at Mendocino, California
Painting Description
Following a few days in the Napa Valley, we drove to this Victorian style village along the coast north of San Francisco. The shoreline is high and rocky with an active but not angry surf. My drawing/painting focuses on the great cracked slabs of stone that hold the sea from the farmland beside the fabled highway US#1.
