Linwood Visit

Painting Description

Supplies from the feed mill or nails from the hardware store are often, I suspect, just a convenient reason to come to town. During the winter, the pace of activities is very slow, and a chance to make a visit to this small farmer’s village is welcome. I find it interesting to listen to the farmers’ conversations that deal with the price of hogs, or the newest feed supplements. I have yet to hear a discussion about current events or politics outside of the impact on farmers. It is almost as if the outside world does not exist.
