Painting Description

Although the farm animal idea is not common as a subject in North America, the British have a long tradition in this area. I guess that after all our travel in the UK, it is not surprising to see influences on my work coming from Britain. For many years, studies of animals, domestic or wild, have formed a recognized type. From time to time I paint single animals, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, cows and horses. Certainly a group of these animal pieces would make a lovely collection on a wall.
