Painting Description

Travelling on a ship from Buenos Aires to Africa, we visited several exotic spots in Brazil. We spent almost four days cruising north along the coast of Brazil before we headed west across the Atlantic Ocean. We were sad to leave the exciting pieces of the ports of that vast country. Our guide in Recife spoke very little English but took us to beautiful vantage points that overlooked the town and sea. He obviously understood just what we wanted, in spite of our language barrier.
