Painting Description

This painting comes out of a group of photos that I took in the 1970’s. The fence, sadly, no longer exists but horses are still to be seen working the land on this David B. Martin farm northeast of Crosshill. Just as with a group of flowers or a set of buildings, I was drawn by the colour patterns of the five-horse hitch.
