Beach Paths

Painting Description

I find it hard not to paint Bermuda like an advertisement for the Bermuda Tourist Board. For five or six years, we visited that tiny nation on a regular basis because I was fortunate enough to have an art dealer there, The Windjammer Gallery that sold my paintings of Bermuda. I can be most enthusiastic about almost everything in this semi-paradise except the traffic. The government has made strict rules about the ownership of vehicles there. Only one car per residence is enforced and no non-resident may own or rent a car there. That puts the visitors to the island on small motorbikes in heavily congested traffic. In spite of my whine about the traffic, Bermuda is still a piece of heaven in late spring and autumn.
