Painting Description

Inspired by a stretch of Boomer Creek, not far from Linwood, the painting demonstrates the warm languid feeling that envelopes me as I walk by this stream. Here in the heart of Mennonite Country (David B. Martin Country), the sounds of the water and the birds are complemented by the clack of horse hoofs on the gravel road.
